Got to go back, back to the past, Samurai Jack. The third episode has arrived, but How Evil Is It?
If you haven’t watched the new season yet, don’t read this. Spoilers are just unavoidable, this time. On the last episode, Jack killed his first human. Now guilt has triggered his PTSD and he had to deal with what he did. For those not watching yet Jack got his tail handed to him by seven assassins, and managed to kill one of them, which turned out to be human. That was the last episode. This episode he had to come to terms with killing a human being, and it nearly destroyed him. After mending his wounds and remembering his dad’s philosophy, he managed to beat the remaining six assassins with ease. I think it’s safe to say Jack… is back.
This season has had a lot of drama, so far. Jack’s struggles feel real… for time traveling samurai, of course. The series has gotten darker, while maintaining everything that made it popular in the first place. I would say this episode is about as evil as a Super Villain. That’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep It Classy,
