The Legend of Zelda… Just kidding, I was planning on reviewing Breath of The Wild today but I don’t have a way to play it yet. So, what should I do? I guess I’ll just start over. Child of Light a platformer with a turn-based, RPG battle system. You know the question by now, right? How Evil Is Child of Light?
Child of Light follows a young princess as she fights to save a fantastical world from her evil stepmother. To do this, she must collect the stars and the moon. Each time one of these items is collected she changes the first time she gets wings and can fly. Anyway, the princess must collect allies to retake the kingdom of light. About halfway through is when she finally sees her stepmother for the evil queen she is, along with her stepsisters. There is a lot going on in this game, and I won’t be able to cover all of it. Really, if you haven’t played this game yet, you should try it.
The art of this game is beautiful. Parts of this game remind me of Journey, with all the colors, and killer music to match. I haven’t had any problems with anything in this game, actually. So let’s sum it up, shall we? Great story, beautiful art style, and near perfect gameplay. The multiplayer could’ve been executed a tad bit better, but it’s still pretty fun. I would say that makes it as evil as a Villain. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep it Classy,
Evil Bob
