So Cardia is some kind of superweapon? How evil is Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ episode 8?

This episode started with the rest of the group right before London got set on fire. When the episode caught up with the last one it shifted back to Cardia and Lupen. Apparently, the first step in Twilight’s plan is to pull off a coup.  They were even competent enough to get an assassin close to Queen Victoria. That’s as far as they got through, The assassin was pretty much screwed as soon as he pointed a gun at the queen.

Speaking of the queen, the whole team rushed to rescue her. I thought that was pretty cool. The team doesn’t exactly like the way she does things, but they do realize her importance. They even formed an alliance the end of the episode. Common enemies are pretty good motivators.

We also learned of yet another group out to get in the action, Idea… Yeah, it’s a stupid name whatever. Saint is part of this group. They seem to have technology that is ahead of the others in this show. I just hope there’s no time travel involved.  Idea has been hinted at since before the airship race. We have seen Saint talking to another member or passing her many times already.

We know Saint to be a kind and caring guy so far. So, it’s a little surprising when he admits to Cardia he has to kill her. Let’s review real quick.  Lupen just wanted to stop Twilight, but he got involved with Cardia so that’s changed a lot, Twilight wants to use Cardia as a weapon, and Idea wants to murder her to stop Twilight.

I have no idea where all this is going. This show is pretty good at keeping me guessing so far. I would say this episode is about as evil as a Killer Robot Army. This show has a lot going for it right now.  If you like what you read check out some of our other anime content.
